Kristen Baird is a SCAD graduate and jewelry designer in Savannah. She draws inspiration from her upbringing in the south and her art school background. Kristen started as an interior design major, and she brings the techniques she learned in building arts into her jewelry design. The landscapes that have influenced her life serve as her primary source of inspiration. Kristen strives to have a juxtaposition of organic forms and structure within her designs. Her clients range from their 20’s to their 40’s, but she also caters towards a resort demographic. Kristen asked that the clients feel at home in the space and be taken on a journey when they enter the store. She stressed the importance of showing her process and letting the viewer see behind the scenes.
